I had been thrilled when I first got it - had broken my hand - and although slow, it worked well initially. Got more of them to give as presents - it was fun to watch the little thing open the cans. However, now I’m embarassed at having given it to friends.
This can opener worked well for a few weeks, then started partially opening lids and stopping midway. It took a long while to figure out how to salvage the can I was trying to open by getting it to manually reverse. Replaced the batteries (just in case), but the problem was the can opener itself. I have since thrown it away. Terrible waste of money.

The construction master is a great product, hands down. The only problem with this “desktop” version is that the keypad is a little funky.
If they raised the keys just a little higher and made them easier to press, it would be fantastic. Unfortunately, you have to press kind of hard to get the buttons to respond. When you’re trying to do lots of fast calculations, it gets frustrating, because you have to be very deliberate about each and every keystroke.
Otherwise, great product, great time saver.

Not too long ago I was on the phone with some of the individuals who are doing some training with me and one of them asked me a question about “selling” prospects on joining your M.l.M company.
Derivative fluff from 1987, made tolerable by its bawdy exuberance and an appealing performance by Michael J. Fox, who was still enjoying TV stardom and the career momentum he earned by traveling Back to the Future. Here he plays a Kansas farm boy who dreams of scoring big in New York City, but reality turns out to be brutal to his ambition. When his uncle (Richard Jordan) gives him a mail-room job in the high-rise headquarters of a major corporation, Fox occupies an empty office and poses as a young executive, winning the attention of a lovely young colleague (Helen Slater) and having an affair with his boss’s wife (Margaret Whitton). Sporadically amusing as a yuppie comedy and rather off-putting as a wannabe sex farce, the movie’s still recommendable for its lively cast and a breezy style that almost succeeds in updating the conventions of vintage screwball comedy. Whitton is a standout performer here, so you may wonder why her comedic talent has been underrated, apart from a good role in the first two Major League movies. This may be little more than a big-screen sitcom, but it’s not without its charms. –Jeff Shannon

Many strange people come from Kansas and all of them are dreamers like Dorothea. And the way to success is paved with yellow bricks. In this film the dream comes true and the means used to do so are standard in business. One share of women, using them and being used by them. One share of good sound logic and practical intelligence. One share of pure righteous and deserved brutality with the higher-ups who are so narrow minded and egotistic that they don’t even see their personal interest. One share of a well developed sniffing device known has a nose that is the intuition of a dog but also the best sanity of a man. And you get to the top. Just use the elevator please and don’t get it stuck accidentally on purpose because plenty of people are expecting to use it. And you have the secret of success for a comedy that is nothing but an American Psycho in Hell’s Kitchen turned into an unrestricted American Dreamo in Heaven’s Dining-room. Very good, very fast, very dynamic, quite convincingly absurd and absurdly funny. Just what we need when we look at the stock exchange and think subprime.

I enjoy this product, but had some issues in setting it up. It seems to be essential to link to the internet and your banking sites, but my bank seems to tell me that it will cost additional high costs to do this. That’s a bit frustrating. I’ll have to keep playing with it. .
